FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
February 8, 2026
Lake Wales, FL & Los Angeles, CA — February 8 marked a historic milestone for digital Christian media as two churches—HighPoint Church in Lake Wales, Florida, and CityLight Church in Los Angeles, California—simultaneously launched new internet radio stations on opposite coasts of the United States, all powered by Godcaster.
The coordinated launches represent the next evolution of church-based digital broadcasting, combining 24/7 internet radio, on-demand podcasts, live streaming, and Church Live—Godcaster’s new automated simulcast of Sunday morning services—into a unified, mobile-first experience.
Both stations were prominently featured on the free Godcaster mobile app, available on the Apple App Store and Google Play, making the launches instantly accessible to listeners nationwide and beyond.

A Special Moment with Adam Curry
As part of the launch weekend, Adam Curry, Godcaster partner and co-inventor of podcasting, was invited to share his personal testimony during all three Sunday services at HighPoint Church.
His message traced his journey into Christian media and culminated in an invitation for the congregation to take part in becoming a new media voice for their city and region through Providence Voice.
“I’m deeply honored to share my testimony at HighPoint Church on the very day we launched their Godcaster digital station, Providence Voice,” said Curry. “This moment captures the bigger vision—lifting thousands of churches and radio stations into the digital age, empowering them to reach their local communities with the gospel through modern streaming and on-demand media. Godcaster makes it possible for churches to own their voice, their audience, and their mission in a whole new way.”
Launch Day Impact & Promotion
Ken Spickler, Launch Manager for CityLight LA, shared early results from the church’s first day on the platform:
“The livestream went well. My wife announced Godcaster from the stage in all three services, and we saw a peak of listeners during the third service. Not too bad for launch day!”
CityLight implemented an integrated promotion strategy that included:
- QR codes displayed on in-room screens during announcements
- Matching QR codes placed on the backs of sanctuary seats
- A church-hosted landing page linking directly to the Godcaster app on both app stores
- Embedded Godcaster PWA player inside the CityLight Church mobile app
This approach created a frictionless path from in-service announcement to ongoing weekday engagement.
A New Era for Church Media
These simultaneous coast-to-coast launches underscore a growing shift in how churches engage their communities—moving beyond single-platform streaming into always-on digital stations that blend live worship, podcasts, music, and local storytelling.
By leveraging Godcaster’s streaming and on-demand infrastructure, churches are no longer limited to Sunday mornings. Instead, they are building sustainable digital media outlets that serve their cities every day of the week.
