Godcaster Introduces New Features to Enhance User Engagement and Content Customization

April 14, 2025

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

April 2025 — Godcaster is excited to announce a range of new features designed to elevate user experience and increase audience engagement. These updates offer enhanced customization, seamless integrations, and powerful tools to help broadcasters, ministries, and organizations create a more dynamic and personalized content experience.

In a major enhancement for mobile users, Godcaster’s Universal App (PWA) is now integrated with native apps. KHCB Network, NewLife Radio and WDAC’s group of stations are first to activate the feature with their apps. This ensures a consistent, high-quality experience across all devices, allowing listeners to enjoy seamless access to content without any disruption. Updates and changes are automatically reflected across platforms, ensuring that your content is always up-to-date.

Godcaster also introduces a new API for greater customization. This powerful tool allows customers to fully tailor their player experience across websites, mobile apps, and car interfaces. The API offers even more flexibility, enabling broadcasters to create a truly personalized experience for their audience.

Another standout update is the ability to add multiple rotating inserts on the player home screen. Content owners can now display a variety of messages, updates, or promotions that rotate every seven seconds. This ensures that content stays fresh and engaging, giving broadcasters the opportunity to showcase important information or sponsor messages without overwhelming the listener.

In addition, Godcaster introduces the ability to create unique inserts for each program. Whether it’s program-specific resources or tailored sponsor messages, this feature gives broadcasters full control over how content is presented for each show. It’s an excellent way to keep the experience personalized and relevant to your audience.

For stations or organizations running multiple content streams, Godcaster has expanded its functionality to support multiple livestreams on any player. This update allows broadcasters to offer a greater selection of content to their listeners, whether from different stations or internet-only streams, all within a single player interface.

To further empower program publishers, Godcaster now provides a dedicated dashboard offering first-party insights into listener engagement and giving support from a single player or from all players in aggregate. This feature gives publishers the data they need to refine their strategies and boost audience interaction. Chip Ingram’s Living on the Edge is the first program to put this feature into service.

Finally, the Godcasters.fm Community Portal has launched on Mastodon, offering a space for users to connect, share ideas, and learn best practices.
